The concert is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited to 100 patrons. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Bedford Library will be served at intermission.
Please join the us Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. when the Library’s Sunday Concert Series features the Bel Airs.
From “Blue Moon” to “Silhouettes” to “Come Go with Me,” the Bel Airs- New England’s premier doo wop and oldies vocal quintet- sing America’s pop music from the time of poodle skirts, beehive hair dos, car tail-fins and shiny metal diners. You’ll hear our exciting five-part harmony on any given day or night at fairs, college concerts, car shows, libraries, clubs and town/city concerts. Our music is loved by people of all ages as the success of “Jersey Boys,” “Forever Plaid,” “Grease” and the annual Public TV fundraisers bear witness. The Bel Airs have shared the stage with “Kenny Vance and the Planotones,” “Freddie Boom Boom Cannon,” the “Tune Weavers,” and Billy Shelton of the original “Spaniels.”
Sunday at the Library concerts are hosted by the Friends of the Library and made possible by a grant from the Bedford Library Foundation
