Freshman Year for Free and Other More Affordable Options: a Program for Parents
Presented by Kathy Stoughton, M. Ed.
This program will provide an overview of some of the new choices including: Modern States, Edx, Arizona State, and Google. Kathy will describe the strengths and weaknesses of the new options and the skills needed to take advantage of the new choices. She will also give tips for avoiding a few common mistakes.
NHHC Program: "A History of the New Hampshire Primary" with John Gfroerer
This program presents a brief history of the New Hampshire Presidential Primary, from its origins during the Progressive era of the early twentieth century, through its evolution to the most important step toward being elected President of the United States.
Based around segments from the documentary "The Premier Primary, New Hampshire and Presidential Elections" this program focuses on several memorable moments such as Senator Muskie crying in front of the Union Leader office, and who paid for Ronald Reagan's microphone.

This drop in event has something for everyone.
The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill will provide information about the farm's sheep and their fleece.
Library staff will demonstrate spinning, weaving, and rug braiding.
Plus, there will be learn to knit demos, crafts for kids, and cider and donuts!
Story time at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm

The fourth installment in the Avengers saga is the culmination of 22 interconnected Marvel films and the climax of an epic journey. The world’s greatest heroes will finally understand just how fragile our reality is—and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it—in a story of friendship, teamwork and setting aside differences to overcome an impossible obstacle.
Pizza will be provided at the start of the movie at 5:00 p.m.
Rated PG-13; children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent.
