Winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition, pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony returns for the first Friends of the Bedford Public Library Concert of fall!
Noted for his “fluid pianism” by The New York Times, Laszlo has performed in 27 countries and released 14 albums. He is a professor of piano at Berklee College of Music in Boston and on the faculty at Harvard University’s “Jazz Combo Initiative” program. His performances convey the joy of inspired creation, audience connection, and moving spontaneous improvisations. Gardony's concerts are one-of-a-kind performances drawing from deep feeling, prodigious technique, and a playful curiosity that thrives on interpreting each unique moment.
The concert is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited to 100 patrons, so be sure to visit the library's online calendar or call (603) 472-2300 to sign up.
Light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Bedford Library will be served at intermission.
