Bedford Boomers Train Display

All Aboard! Train Show at the Bedford Public Library

The weekend before Thanksgiving, join the Bedford Public Library in celebrating National Model Railroad Month. The Bedford Boomers Model Railroad Club, will host a “Model Train Display” and “Railroad Memorabilia” in the McAllaster Room, Saturday, November 18th  from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 19th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Bedford Boomers will be operating model railroad displays in a variety of scales: O, G, HO & N complete with scenery and layout.

Do you know about trains that operated between Manchester and Milford with a station stop in Bedford from 1900 to 1924? The Bedford station was located between the current Mobil Station and Meetinghouse Road on NH Route 101.  A model train replica of the Bedford train station is on permanent display outside the Children’s Room in the lower level of the library.

Come and learn about this fascinating hobby.

This is a show for all ages and not to be missed! Free and open to the public.
