Join us for two Kamishibai stories: 'The Old Man and the Mice' and 'The One-Inch Boy' read by Miss Lee Ann! It is pronounced 'Ka-me-she-by' and means “Paper Theater.”
Popular in Japan in the early 1900’s as a means of entertainment and commerce, Kamishibai employs the use of a small theater, large illustrated cards, and theatrical voice.
This storytime will take place in the tent on the library lawn. This program may be virtual in case of inclement weather. All registered participants will be notified via email.
