We've invited Dr. Steve Hale back to share his knowledge of hawks and hawk migration, in preparation for the fall migration season. Join us for this Zoom program, where Dr. Hale will teach us the basics of hawk, falcon, and eagle identification and learn what to expect in a fall hawkwatch.
Presenter Steve Hale holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology. He has lived in New Hampshire over 20 years and has explored most of the state. An avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist, Steve loves to share his experience and knowledge with others. Steve wrote his doctoral dissertation at the University of New Hampshire, where he studied the habitat associations of the endemic Bicknell's Thrush using satellite remote sensing and geographic information systems.
Virtual Program via Zoom. You must register for this class, which will be conducted via Zoom. Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link the day of the event. Please do not share the link.
