UNH Extension Master Gardener Donna Lussier will be at the Bedford Public Library to teach us all about saving seeds on Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00 PM. Attendees will learn why saving seeds is important, what kinds of seeds to save and when to harvest them, the different methods for processing seeds and preparing them for storage, and several tips and tricks to ensure successful germination. This is a great introduction to saving seeds for your own garden or to share with the Bedford Seed Library.
The event is open to the public, but registration is required. Please visit our online calendar to sign up.
