Join us in celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month by checking out one of these great reads. Try a moving memoir, a fascinating history, or a stirring novel. These books are not a comprehensive representation of the Asian American experience, but instead a sample of the diverse stories being told by AAPI authors.
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month was first established by Congress in 1978 as Pacific/Asian American Heritage Week. In 1990, the celebration was expanded to the entire month of May. This year's theme is Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration. For more information about AAPI month, visit https://asianpacificheritage.gov/
