Just in time for April vacation, the library has a new addition to our collection: board games! The display of games that are available to check out is located in the Young Adult section on the main floor.
Bedford cardholders are able to bring home a tabletop game for two weeks to play with friends and family. Games currently in the collection are: Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin Pathfinder, Pandemic, Tsuro, Zombie Dice, and King of Tokyo.
In Settlers of Catan, you are a settler on the island of Catan competing with other settlers to build cities, settlements and connecting roads.
Or, play the role of a specialist working with others to discover the cure for four diseases which threaten to wipe out the population in Pandemic.
Interested in becoming a mutant monster who competes with other monsters, aliens, and robots for the coveted title of King? Then King of Tokyo is the game for you!
