Resources for Your 2020 Goals

Did you know that most New Year’s resolutions are broken on January 17th? The library has many resources to help you keep your resolutions well into 2020; free with your library membership!

Did you resolve to diversify your reading habits? Join one of our book groups and enjoy a stimulating conversation with fellow readers, focusing on a variety of book selections. The daytime book group meets the second Monday of the month at 10am, while the evening group meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:45pm. Stop by the reference desk to pick up a copy of the current read, or contact us at 472-2300 with any questions.

If your resolution was to expand your knowledge, you’re in luck! The library now provides online access to the Great Courses Library Collection. In the Great Courses Library Collection you can access 150 of their most popular courses taught by some of the world’s top professors. With hundreds of videos on subjects ranging from photography to physics, astronomy to art, history to health, and everything in between, you’re sure to find courses that interest you.. Don’t forget about CreativeBug if your resolution was to create more. CreativeBug is an online database of 1000+ video classes in painting, knitting, crafting, sewing, and more. There are even classes specifically geared towards beginners, as well as 'quick classes' to guide you in a short craft project when time is limited.
