Founded in 1916 by Annie E. Woodman, the Woodman Museum in Dover, NH is dedicated to history, science and the arts. Its collections are housed in four buildings:
- Woodman House - houses the Natural History and War Memorial museums and contains extensive and well preserved collections of local area interest such as minerals, Native American artifacts and Civil War artifacts & memorabilia.
- Keefe House Gallery - contains fine art exhibits.
- Hale House - houses the museum’s varied historical collections, art and period furniture.
- Damm Garrison - is an authentic colonial garrison, the William Damm house, built in 1675. It contains a collection of over 800 items which illustrate area history, such as utensils, furniture and tools.
