Join us for the first Friends of the Library Concert of fall on Sunday, October 4th at 2:30 PM
Multi-instrumentalist Stan Strickland (saxophone, flute, voice, bass clarinet, percussion) and pianist/composer Laszlo Gardony—first-prize winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition—will explore Laszlo's original compositions along with his unique, joyful arrangements of well-known jazz, folk, and rock classics from his various albums.
Laszlo and Stan approach the music with their trademark musical chemistry, boundless creativity, and uncanny ability to create magical moments. Their performances move effortlessly between vivid, contemplative, and spiritual moments and roaring, high-energy grooves.
The concert is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited to 100 patrons, so please be sure to register via our online calendar. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Bedford Library will be served at intermission.
