This year spring officially begins at 11:06 pm on Tuesday, March 19. However, you may have noticed some of springs most beloved harbingers returning to your backyard and birdfeeder. Want to learn more about the birds around us and how they affect our lives and landscape? Check out one of these books from the Bedford Public Library to help you celebrate spring and our feathered friends.

Getting ready to put together your New Year’s Resolutions? You could set habits to eat healthier, exercise more and watch less TV - but you could also live vicariously through someone else’s resolutions by reading anything from the Stunt Genre. In this genre the author does something for a year and writes a book to tell about it. Examples of these books are:
