American History Online is an excellent resource for middle and high school students and anyone who wants to delve deeper into American history. You can access primary sources, encyclopedia articles, ebooks, and multimedia.
If you're curious to learn more about your family history, several excellent library resources can help you get started. The Ancestry Library Edition and HeritageQuest Online databases contain census and military records, passenger lists, birth, marriage, and death records, plus much more. We've had over 140 adults register for our 7 Book Summer and over 65 teens register for the Teen 8 Book Challenge! Many people have earned their halfway prize (either a certificate for our book sale or for a 3D printed prize on our new 3D printer) by reading three books for adults or four books for teens.
