Fizz, Boom, Read! Things are really bubbling in the Children's Library already! Hundreds of Bedford youngsters have joined the Summer Reading Club, but there's always room for more! Come on down and get placed on a reading team...will you be a Mad Scientist or a Robot? All the preschoolers will be our Lab Rats...it is understood that they will have books read to them. Once you sign up, you'll receive a folder filled with info about all the special events going on this summer. It will contain a reading log, as well. Each week during the program, you're invited to come to the Reporting Lab and show your list to a Junior Librarian, in order to recieve a small incentive prize and a gift coupon for a free kid meal, bowling or mini-golf. Also, you may wish to visit the Craft Lab, where there will be a different make & take craft offered each week. It's a win-win...fun reading and fun rewards!
