Good news...Maddy's coming back! Everyone's favorite golden retriever can't wait to come back to the library, now that she's recovered from some surgery on her leg. Maddy loves to lie close-by and listen to kids read to her. This will be her third year of helping kids gain confidence with their reading skills, especially reading out loud in class. She will be visiting on the third Thursday of every month (December excepted) from 4:00-5:30pm. Each child gets 15-minutes' private time to spend reading to Maddy. You may call ahead to secure a specific time slot on the day of the program, or just drop by and take your chances. Maddy is fully trained and certified...she belongs to the Botsford family, who live here in Bedford.
