April is a great time to join the Book Buzz, open to all kids aged 9-12! The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 11, from 5:00-6:00pm.
The book up for discussion is Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library, by Chris Grabenstein...winner of last year's Great Stone Face Award. Library lock-in! Kids have to really use their smarts to solve all sorts of puzzles in order to finally escape from this amazing place, created by a famous game maker. The race is on...who will emerge victorious? We have plenty of copies on hand...just ask for one at the Children's Desk. Copies of the next book will be made available at the meeting: The One and Only Ivan, by Katherine Applegate..you'll never look at gorillas the same way again! Even if you don't get the book read, come on along...you'll have a voice in making the next selection! Not to mention the crafts, munchies and fun conversation...
