The Ladybug books for the new year are in and on display in the Children's Library! This award is decided by the children of New Hampshire, ranging in age from 3 years old to Grade 3. A committee of children's librarians from all over the state convenes to compile a list of 10 of the best new picture books...then kids get to vote for their favorite one in November, during Children's Library Week. This initiative is sponsored by New Hampshier's Center for the Book. Why not come in and check them out (if there are any left, that is...they routinely fly off the shelf!)? If none are available when you drop by, you can put a couple on reserve, provided you are a Bedord Library patron in good standing.
