Great Stone Face Winner

And the winner is... EL DEAFO, by Cece Bell. New Hampshire students in grades 4-6 have spoken: they chose this graphic novel out of a field of 20 superb books for this age group, with 786 votes. The second place winner was FISH IN A TREE, by Lynda Mullay Hunt, with 635 votes. Both of these titles center on young people facing disabilities...their popularity speaks well for the compassionate nature of our youth. The third place finisher was THE TERRIBLE TWO, a rib-tickling school comedy by Jory John and Mac Barnett, coming in close behind at 633 votes. display Next year's GSF candidates are already on display in the Children's Library...come on in and check them out!
