Good news for dog lovers...We have a new dog for our kids' reading program! We all miss Maddy, but you're guaranteed to fall in love with Lilly, a yellow lab owned and trained by Sue Bradford of Bedford. Lilly was originally destined to be a guide dog for the blind, but it turned out that she loved people so, so much that she couldn't stay focused on one master. Lilly will be at the library on the (usually) third Thursday of every month, from 4:00 - 5:30pm. If you would like to secure a 15-minute time slot for some private time reading to Lilly, you can call us at 472-2300 and ask for the Children's Room...or, you can just drop by and take your chances!
