February Vacation Week

 

Hang in there, kids! Winter Break will be here before you know it! Your teachers may be looking forward to resting up, but here at the library, we’re going full STEM ahead (pun intended).

Here’s a preview of what we have in store for school vacation week, along with our regularly scheduled storytimes…on-line registration is open.

 Monday, February 27…1:00 -2:30pm

Fun with STEM for ages 5-7… The BHS Robotics Team has graciously agreed to come to the library to present a hands-on program for kids to enjoy while learning some simple scientific principles.

 Tuesday, February 28…2:00 – 3:30pm

School Holiday Movie for Kids: “TROLLS”…When their village is invaded by the grumpy Bergers, two mismatched friends must work in perfect harmony to save the day.

 Thursday, March 2…2:00-3:30pm

STEM for ages 8-12…The BHS Robotics Team will visit us again, this time with some fun and games for the midgrade set.

 Thursday, March 2…6:00 – 7:30pm  

Family Pajama Storytime with Stuffed Animal Sleepover…Have you ever wondered what happens at the Bedford Public Library when it is closed? We’ll share our secret world with your stued animal friend at our Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Leave your stuffie tucked in for the night and pick him/her up the next day to find out what goes on after hours. Join us for fun stories and activities!

 Friday, March 3…1:00 – 2:00pm

Ice Cream Science for grades K-5… Sub Zero Ice Cream of Nashua will be using their ice cream to teach students laws and principles of science. What better way to learn than with delicious, fresh ice cream? All participants will get to create some yummy treats of their own (yes, even the parents)!
