Whether you've attended a Book Buzz meeting before or not, you are welcome to join us for the final meeting of the season on Monday, May 22 from 5:00-6:00pm, for kids aged 9-12.
The discussion will center around the hilarious exploits of Teddy Mars, Almost a World Record Breaker, by Molly Burnham. Determined to stand out in a very competitive family, Teddy is trying desperately to qualify for The Guinness Book of World of World Records, but whether trying to build the tallest pile of leaves or wrapping the most elastic bands around his face, all of his attempts are sabotaged by some complication or other, such as a windstorm, or just plain pain! But by far the biggest hurdle is trying to keep his adoring, but detructive, little brother out of his stuff! Then there's the "grumpy pigeon man" next door...read on to find out what Teddy and his friends learn, and whether Teddy finally finds success.
