In keeping with our summer reading theme, "Build a Better World", we gave our young Bedford patrons an opportunity to thank some of the awesome departments and organizations in town that make this a better place to live. For the entire summer, colorful postcards were made available to the children, so that they could write their messages and place them in our own special "Mailbox". The results were very sweet, and in some cases, amusing. Very shortly, special deliveries will be made to the Fire Department, Police Department, Public Works, Parks & Rec, Animal Rescue League and Lilly, our Reader Dog. We hope this will bring smiles to Bedford's Finest!
