We're excited to announce the first week's winners in our April Poem in Your Pocket Contest! In the younger age category, Melody McCarthy won with her poem on a paint chip about the color called "Candy Mix". The honors in the Age 8 & up category went to Claire Kraemer, with a wonderful original poem in free verse, entitled "Swimming". Both winners received gift certificates to Toadstool Book Shop. Why not try your hand at it? You may be next week's winner! Simply write some original poetry and bring it to the Children's Library.

These books have been on display for almost a year now, but there are still a few weeks remaining to catch up on your reading…no need to read every one! Polls will be open from Wednesday, April 1st to Tuesday, April 28th. Let your voice be heard…every vote counts!
